The most successful beauty memberships we see focus on simplicity and value rather than overwhelming clients with endless perks. Here's what to include:

Core treatments

Start with what your clients already love and book regularly. This could be monthly facials, quarterly injectables, or fortnightly LED sessions. The key is consistency - regular treatments that deliver visible results.

"Most of our clients were already coming in every 4-6 weeks. Memberships just made it easier for them to maintain that routine," shares Zoe from Tuesday Skin.

Simple, valuable perks

While the ability to spread payments is valuable in itself, a few thoughtful perks can make members feel like VIPs:

Priority booking (costs you nothing but means everything to clients)
A modest product discount (10-15% is plenty)
A birthday treatment or upgrade
First access to new services or events

Remember: You don't need dozens of perks. Two or three meaningful benefits are more powerful than a long list of unused extras.

Clear terms

Be upfront about:

Membership duration (6-12 months works well)
Payment frequency (weekly, fortnightly or monthly)
Cancelation policy (we recommend 50% of the remaining balance)
What happens after the initial term (we recommend auto-renewal with 30-day notice to cancel)
